Live Blogging From Nchanga Constituency Office


Today marks a milestone in  initiatives to bring Zambian parliament closer to the people one blog post at a time.

Following  Hon. Simuusa's MP buy-in to establish an official Nchanga Constituency office presence on social media we are now discussing the way forward.

I will shortly ask him to give updates on all promises he has made.

Roads Project



Hon. Simuusa said that a commitment for funding had been solicited
from the National Roads Board funds for roads rehabilitation in the two
Constituencies. The MP said this was part of an effort to use a
community based approach where residents, Council, GRZ and the
Business Community is involved as a team to do the job. The project is
yet to commence as soon as the plan and mobilization are finalized.

Report on Nchanga Youth Development Centre K40 million From YEF

Update: No Action

On Wednesday January 7 2009, Hon. Simuusa further to his visit requested his PA M.Bwalya to gather more information from the Nchanga Youth development Centre for Computer Studies to determine how effectively K40 million given through the Youth Empowerment Fund (YEF) has been used.


RB Pledge to Luano Middle Basic School

Update: No action

In January 2009,Hon. Simuusa promised to follow up on pledge made by Excellency Rupiah Banda during campaign visit to Luano middle basic school.
